A Morning of Photographic Surprises
November in Ireland is usually dull, cool and often showery. This year has been different. The end of October and the beginning of November have been unseasonably warm, and even sunny, so I recently took advantage of the pleasant conditions to take my camera to the coast for a morning of photography.
On this morning, I had no plan other than to wander around, see what drew my attention, take some pictures and enjoy the beautiful morning.
When I arrived at the seafront, it was approximately an hour after sunrise. I walked along the beach, changing direction at times to capture a combination of images, some shot in morning light and others shot as silhouettes. Due to the strong sunlight the silhouettes didn't work well in colour but the simple subjects and good contrast made it worth experimenting with black and white.

Do you like the black and white conversions or do you prefer the images in colour?
