Three Photographs I Missed

Recently, I was driving home on a Sunday evening when I was treated to a beautiful sky as the sun set to my right.
As I drove I used my photographic eye to pick out three potential images that I may have captured if circumstances had been different.
The first was an old, abandoned house illuminated by the setting sun, while the hedges and walls surrounding it remained in darkness. A car was directly behind me, so I couldn't stop, making it a brief image in my mind.
The next image was when the sun picked out an old cartwheel propped against a wall. Again, the image was upon me before I could stop the car and get my camera out.
The third potential image was an electricity pylon on a hillside silhouetted against the sky. I stopped when it was safe to do so and drove back to capture the scene but by that time the sun had dipped behind the hill.
Three photographs that got away but they will remain in my memory.
The next morning I arose to morning sunlight so I took my camera with me when walking my dog and practiced looking for photo opportunities locally.
Here are some of the images from that morning.

The sun played a vital role in capturing all of these images, as it did in suggesting potential images the evening before. Although there are many types of light which are good for photography, I do love to make images when there is strong natural contrast.
I hope you get the opportunity to make some images wherever you are.
